President Uhuru Kenyatta has resorted to using parliament to hoodwink Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka as scheme to silence NASA, claims Sylvanus Osoro.
At parliament on Thursday, Jubilee MPs rallied behind Kennedy Musyoka, son to former VP in his bid to represent NASA in East African Legislative Assembly.
"He is young and we shall endorse him fully. These are kind of leaders NASA should front," said Majority Leader Aden Duale, who conspicuously opposed nomination on Norman Magaya.
But the South Mugirango MP says Jubilee has schemed to entice Wiper as a way of weakening further Raila Odinga's coalition.
Further, he says, Jubilee is behind current impasse in NASA over nominations to Public Service Commission, with Wiper opposing list tabled by Junet Mohammed.
"You can see Jubilee is now working closely with NASA and that was replicated when our list for PSC was opposed by a Wiper MP and Jubilee legislators. This is a wider scheme to incite Kalonzo's party."
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi (Wiper) had his motion against NASA list to PSC endorsed by Jubilee leaders among them Duale.
Apparently, despite Wiper getting parliamentary leadership in both senate and National Assembly, Wiper wants her member to be considered in PSC, an argument that has been backd by Jubilee MPs.
