Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a has asked National Super Alliance (NASA) to prepare for a thorough beating in the August 8 general election.
Ng’ang’a says that Jubilee’s tyranny of numbers has not changed as being claimed by the opposition.
Speaking to journalists at Thika Deputy County commissioner Tom Anjere's office on Monday, the MP said that Jubilee’s victory in August is not debatable.
The lawmaker said that Jubilee’s chance of winning re-election in August is 100 per cent.
“The opposition should stop day dreaming by claiming that it has numbers to send Jubilee government home,” she said.
The MP indicated that Jubilee numbers are intact and that the opposition should brace up for a tough contest in August.
The MP also laughed off opinion poll claims that the August presidential election will go for a re-run.
Ng’ang’a indicated that Jubilee will win in round one.
“We have enough numbers to win the August election in round one,” she said on Monday.
A section of Jubilee politicians have exuded confidence of trouncing the opposition basing on the numbers attained in the recently concluded mass voter registration exercise.
The opposition maintains that it has closed on Jubilee numbers and is ready to unseat President Kenyatta in August.
