According to political analyst Abdul Noor, most leaders had lost political discipline but the president’s visit brought them back to the line.

Speaking Sunday in a phone interview, Noor said that Nakuru politicians have since united and can talk in one voice after the president lectured them.

He said that lack of unity among elected leaders was affecting development in the county but now things will change.

“Before the president came all elected leaders in Nakuru were very much thick headed but the president lectured them and we are happy they changed from then because since the resident left we have seen them doing things together,” said Noor.

“There is a lot of discipline among the political class and this is a result of the president’s visit,” he said.

Last week during his official visit to Nakuru President Kenyatta called on elected leaders to stop fighting and work together for the good of the people who voted for them.
