[Photo: PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta has called on the opposition to abandon the incitement rhetoric that led to the 2007/2008 post election violence and instead campaign on a platform of policies. "To my opponents, let us not incite Kenyans. Sell your agenda but do not pit Kenyans against each other," said the president. Speaking when he toured Kisii, he said he was seeking the support of voters in the region for the good work his government had done. He listed the gains made by the country under the Jubilee administration including the reforms in the education sector. He cited how the government had taken a burden off the shoulders of parents when it shouldered the responsibility of paying exam fees for all candidates. According to him, the Jubilee government now plans to make secondary education free of charge in all public schools.
