President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have urged Uasin Gishu residents to re-elect governor Jackson Mandago.
Mandago, a Jubilee nominee for the county's gubernatorial seat is facing a stiff competition from billionaire businessman Zedekiah Bundotich better known as Buzeki.
Buzeki is vying for the seat as an independent candidate.
Addressing hundreds of supporters who turned up for the last Jubilee rally in the county ahead of Tuesday's polls, the President and his deputy further reiterated the need to vote for Jubilee candidates in the county.
"Please re-elect Mandago your governor. Give us the Jubilee Senator, Woman Rep, MPs and MCAs as well because a leader without soldiers cannot do anything," Kenyatta said.
"Huyu muungawana anatosha ama hatoshi?" Ruto asked in reference to governor Mandago with the crowd responding with "anatosha".
It's only last week that NASA leadership also endorsed the governor at the very same stadium but the matter did not feature anywhere in the Tuesday's Jubilee rally.
