A day after conducting its campaign in the capital city county, Nairobi, the Jubilee Party is knocking doors in Northern Kenya counties of Mandera and Wajir.
Led by party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, Jubilee has pitched tent in the two counties, today (Saturday), with aims to rally support for their re-election, in the August 8 polls.
Mandera governor Ali Roba, has been campaigning for the Jubilee government's re-election, given that he is a Jubilee candidate, seeking re-election as well.
There rivals, Nasa, led by Raila Odinga, was in the county as well, recently, to campaign, and criticised the Jubilee government, of failing to ensure security in the region, which has frequently been facing Al-Shabaab attacks.
Top in the agenda was insecurity cases such as the attacks, and extra-judicial killings, including famine.
