President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are today (Monday) taking their Jubilee Party campaigns to three counties, in the Kenyan coast.

This follows a successful weekend rally in Kilifi and Mombasa counties, and area perceived to be an Opposition stronghold, basing on the 2013 voting pattern.

The duo are touring Lamu, Tana River and Kilifi counties. They will make stop overs in Ganze, Mariakani, Garseni, Kizingitini, and Mpeketoni.

They will as well touch on issues of insecurity that has faced Lamu, with recent incident seeing Public Works Principal Secretary Mariam El Maawy, being abducted by Al Shabaab militants.

She was however rescued by special KDF soldiers.
