The self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has hit out out at President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto over the appointment of Principal Secretaries.
Miguna who was recently deported to Canada, took to his twitter page on Tuesday and accused Uhuru and Ruto of rigging the 2017 general election.
The lawyer further alleged that the two Jubilee leaders had forced themselves in power through brute force adding that they had created an "illegitimate ethnic chauvinistic government" following the appointment of 12 principal secretaries he claimed come from one ethnic community.
The 12 include:
1.Public Service – Andrew Ng’ang’a
2.Water – Joseph Irungu
3.Housing and Urban Development – Charles Mwaura
4.Energy – Joseph Njoroge
5.Lands – Nicholas Muraguri
6.Interior – Karanja Kibicho
7.Foreign Affairs – Amb Macharia Kamau
8.Industrialisation – Betty Maina
9.Treasury – Kamau Thugge
10.Sport – Peter Kaberia
11.Maritime and Shipping – Nancy Kariguthi
12.Transport – Paul Maringa
Following this, Miguna noted that Uhuru and Ruto should be removed from leadership.
"The despotic duo @UKenyatta and@WilliamsRuto stole the 2017 elections and imposed themselves in power through brute force. They have implemented an ILLEGITIMATE ETHNIC CHAUVINISTIC regime evidenced by these names. We must REMOVE them from power," he tweeted.
