President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have given a directive to Jubilee MPs tasking them with the responsibility of being their chief agents at the constituency level.
The MPs will be required to sign and receive Forms 34B as well as recruit and manage agents at each of the polling stations.
The directive was given during a meeting at State House, Nairobi which was attended by governors and MPs from JP and its affiliates.
The Head of State reminded the leaders of his party that they will be his 'boots on the ground' and will be the ones who help him win votes.
DP Ruto maintained that the party is doing all it can to make sure they have agents at each of the individual polling stations to counter those who intend on spoiling the electoral process.
"We are having a meeting with all our leaders to apprise ourselves on election management. We want to make sure the mischief and loopholes that were used in the nullification of a fairly won election do not happen again," he said as quoted by The Star.
