Ngunyi says the opposition leader‘s mass actions could act as a trap by President Uhuru Kenyatta ,who could use it to portray Odinga as a war monger.

In his latest prediction on 2017 presidential elections outcome, Ngunyi argues that the trap might catch up with Kenya’s finest opposition leader.

“Uhuru bulldozes changes to electoral law and it’s obvious to him that Odinga will fall the trick and call for nation-wide mass actions which could get violent and Uhuru refuses to back down,” he wrote in the Sunday Standard.

“And as this violence increases, his cowardly colleagues abandons him and Raila is isolated as a war monger. August 2017 elections turns violent and the prime mover of the violence is already profiled Odinga and this is what Uhuru is doing,” Ngunyi adds.

Ngunyi also says the eventualities would precipitate to summons and indictments on Raila by International Criminal Court.
