[Photo|PSCU]It has now emerged that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his allies spent Sh2.45 million for a Jubilee Party appreciation party after Tuesday's inauguration.eDaily reported that Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Kenyatta’s personal assistant Jomo Gecaga allegedly contributed the monies to celebrate a long successful political journey.Kenyatta reportedly contributed Sh1 million; Ruto Sh700,000; Sonko 500,000 and Gecaga reportedly contributed Sh250,000 for the Tuesday night party.They are said to have used the monies for drinks, and meals at Westlands' Galileo Lounge in Nairobi.The daily reported that Sonko, Gecaga, Speakers Justin Muturi (National Assembly) and Ken Lusaka (Senate), Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, former Taita Taveta Woman Representative Joyce Lay and former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar among other host of Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries attended the party.
