With the recent developments at the opposition coalition Cord, the Akamba community has been left with no other choice but to hatch a plan B as the possibilities of their son, Kalonzo carrying Cord's mantle diminish.

Ukambani as a whole had harbored high hopes when the Former Prime Minister and the Cord's co-principal Raila Odinga had earlier on  hinted that he was ready to support another Cord candidate for presidency come 2017 but with the current turn of events at the den, that may not be happening.

To many, Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka was the most sure bet to be backed up by Raila, however, much  speculations had it that Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi was also a possibility that Raila could settle on.

Be it as it may, if the words spoken by the ODM party leader last Saturday were anything to go by, then the Kamba's ambitious dreams could only remain ideally unrealistic as that may never materialise.

Raila dismissed claims he was ready to endorse anybody else saying he will not allow someone into his house and build a structure without his approval, adding that he will remain the Cord’s presidential candidate in the forth-coming 2017 General Elections.
