Mavoko MP Patrick Makau has asked IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati to consult both NASA leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta as the commission prepares for the repeat presidential election.

“My appeal is to Wafula Chebukati to engage all the players if he wants the repeat presidential election to be free and transparent,” he said as quoted by the Star.

The MP said that the commission will have itself to blame if the presidential election is bungled again.

Meanwhile, the MP has set said that they will put up a spirited campaign to ensure Raila beats Uhuru in the fresh election.

He said that all NASA MPs will camp in their constituencies to drum up support for Odinga.

Makau assured Raila of the Kamba votes, saying they are intact.

He dismissed Ukambani poll losers who have declared support for Jubilee, saying they are desperate for power and cannot sway the region’s politics.

Makau said that Ukambani will vote 100 per cent for Raila Odinga.
