Makueni Governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana has rubbished claims that Ukambani will vote for Jubilee government on August 8.
Kibwana says that those thinking that Ukambani will support Jubilee are dreaming.
The Makueni Governor indicates that Kamba’s are firmly in NASA and cannot be influenced or swayed to vote for the ruling Jubilee government.
In an interview with the People Daily, Kibwana assured NASA of a massive win in Ukambani.
Come rain or sunshine Kamba’s will die with the National Super Alliance,” he said as quoted by the People Daily.
He dismissed rebel MPs campaigning for Jubilee in Ukambani saying they are just wasting their time and resources.
Kivutha said that some rebel politicians are being used to create rifts and confuse locals ahead of the polls.
The Makueni Governor asked locals to vote out rebel Kamba politicians who declared their support for the ruling Jubilee government.
Meanwhile, Kibwana has urged locals to endorse his re-election bid.
Kibwana says that he needs a second term to complete the projects his government has initiated.
The Makueni Governor is facing a tough re-election bid with several aspirants eyeing to send him packing.
Real estate tycoon David Masika and former Kaiti MP Gideon Musyoka are seeking to oust Kibwana in the August 8 polls.
