A number of leaders from Ukambani have said that they are satisfied with Raila- Kalonzo ticket ahead of the next general election.
The leaders who were speaking on Friday, affirmed that they will back the union which will take on President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.
The leaders who were speaking at the Machakos Golf Club were led by Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, former Lands CS Charity Ngilu, businessmen and church leaders.
The meeting was also attended by Governor Julius Malombe (Kitui), MPs Robbert Mbui (Kathiani), Patrick Makau (Mavoko), Jessica Mbalu (Kibwezi East), and Makali Mulu (Kitui Central).
After the Raila and Kalonzo were endorsed, a section leaders from the region opposed stating that Kalonzo was the NASA flagbearer.
On Friday, the leaders on NASA supporters to ignore a few elements who were opposed to the pair.
