Former Kangundo MP Katatha Maweu has attacked those who voted him out Ukambani residents that and are planning to vote for Jubilee. Maweu said that Kangundo voters were out of their minds when they voted him out on August 8.
He pointed out his development record as a reason that could have convinced the electorate to give him another chance because that could have been the automatic result if he chose any other constituency,
“Whatever happened, I do not know. I do not want to ask for answers. Kangundo residents are out of their senses,” Maweu said as quoted by the Star.
Speaking while handing over power to MP Fabian Muli, Maweu pledged to support his successor during the five years he will be in office. However, he said he will be on the come 2022 to reclaim his seat.
“Kangundo residents always do the unexpected when it comes to elections. I will contest again and I'm sure of winning,” he added.
He asked residents to vote for Raila Odinga and forgave his relatives who campaigned against him.
“Jubilee should not be given votes in Ukambani. I'm seriously campaigning for NASA in the region,” Maweu concluded.
