Ulinzi Stars tactician Benjamin Nyangweso has blamed poor officiating for his side's 0-1 loss to Bandari FC last weekend.
The Soldiers had two goals ruled out for offside in the first half before falling to a Dairu Msagha strike in the second half.
However, a dejected Nyangweso said on Wednesday that the decision to deny them the goals and a penalty later on was harsh and demoralized his team.
"The referee not only deprived us of two genuine goals in the first half but she also did not give us a clear penalty in the second half," he said.
The loss brought Ulinzi's dominance over the Paul Nkatah charges to an untimely end with the Dockers moving to within two points off Ulinzi.
Ulinzi will be hosting Tusker FC in their final league match at their Afraha turf while Bandari travels to relegation-threatened Thika United on Saturday.
