Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso has dismissed reports indicating that the side will miss services of midfielder John Kago in the first leg clash of the CAF Confederations Cup tie against Smouha.
This is after reports indicated that Kago was suspended after picking two bookings.
However, Nyangweso clarified that he got just one booking in the game.
He termed the player crucial to their plans in the tournament as he confirmed his availability.
“The report is wrong; there was a mistake and a yellow card was wrongly attributed to him but was have confirmed he will be available.
” He only got booked in the home tie so he is available for the coming game and he is a key player for us,” Nyangweso said.
Ulinzi Stars will travel to Egypt for the first leg clash early next month.
