Kenya's representatives in CAF 2017 continentals Ulinzi Stars are planning to gauge themselves against the domestic league's top giants prior to their next continental fixtures.
This has been confirmed by Ulinzi vice Chair Cpt Joe Birgen who lauded his charges following their qualifying to the first round of the continental tournament.
He now says that these friendlies will help the team maintain form even as KPL kick-ff dates remain unclear.
"It is a milestone and a huge achievement for the team to progress. We take a lot of pride in that and we congratulate the whole team for their effort. It wasn’t easy but they managed to come out victorious," he said
"The coach is drawing up his plan but we want to play against tough teams, maybe Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards. They will help us a lot to gauge ourselves," he added.
They will be up next against an Egyptian top tier side.
