Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Ulinzi Stars has revealed that it has recruited a number of players from the recently concluded Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) tournament.Speaking to a local sports website, Ulinzi Club chairman Erick Oloo said they had picked a number of players below age 23 whom they believe will help steer the Soldiers to greater heights next season."We have very good players below the age of 23 who were all picked during the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) football tournament and they will part of the team next season.I can assure all our supporters that we'll have a very strong side next season because we have picked some good unknown players who we believe will fit in easily,” said Oloo, as quoted at futaa.com.Oloo added that the club will also work towards bolstering their offensive front which was underwhelming this season.Already two top strikers have been linked with a move away from the club.Stephen Waruru has said he has his plans elsewhere while Samuel Onyango is linked with a move to KPL champions Gor Mahia.The Soldiers finished seventh in the KPL log with 48 points after 34 outings with Waruru emerging third in the top scorer's chart with 13 goals.
