[Photo: futaa.com]Kenya Premier League side Ulinzi Stars continued to bolster their squad ahead of the 2018 season after bringing on board Nzoia Sugar FC striker Masita Masuta on a three- year deal on Monday. The Soldiers have been on a hunting spree for a perfect replacement for former dangerman Stephen Waruru who recently moved to Sofapaka FC and Masuta is believed to be an ideal replica of the dimunitive striker who bagged 13 goals for the 2010 KPL champions last season."We have signed Masita Masuta from Nzoia Sugar. He has signed a three-year contract and we believe he will strengthen our forward line which was our main problem in 2017,"club chairman Eric Oloo revealed to local sports website Futaa.com on Monday.Ulinzi is also facing the prospects of losing their prized striker Samuel 'Sammy' Onyango who has been linked with a move to reigning KPL champions Gor Mahia FC.However, Oloo has since dismissed the claims as mere speculations maintaining that Onyango is an Ulinzi man and he is not going anywhere in the foreseeable future.Ulinzi endured a difficult 2017 campaign that saw them finish on a disappointing seventh position. The sloppy performance saw former head coach Benjamin Nyangweso redeployed to other military duties with his position being taken by former player Dunston Nyaudo.
