An Umoinner Sacco matatu was torched down after hitting and injuring a pedestrian near Dolholm on Jogoo Road, Nairobi on Wednesday.

According to police the driver was overlapping but managed to escape the wrath of the angry mob.

The angry youths burned the vehicle after other passengers had disembarked.

Police said they are investigating the incident.
