United Nations Conference on Trade and Development Secretary General Mukhisa Kituyi says Mike Sonko was not fit for Nairobi County job.
Just under nine months, Sonko has been embroiled in a number of controversies including the bitter fallout with his deputy Polycarp Igathe.
And in Citizen TV on Wednesday, Kituyi, a seasoned politician, instead thinks former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth was the right man for Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
"I thought Peter Kenneth was very good to be Nairobi governor and nothing has happened since the election period that has proven me wrong.
"You listen to Nairobi people you wouldn't believe that they are the ones who voted for Sonko," he said adding that they do not deserve to cry foul.
In the hotly contested Jubilee primaries last year, Sonko beat Kenneth, a candidate that he had labeled a state house project.
And throughout his leadership, the governor has been accused of laxity with city residents often accusing him of failing to restore sanity within the city.
