Dr. Anisa Omar, the Kilifi Health CeC, Director of Health Services, Dr. Bilali Mazoya and members of the health management team had a consultative meeting with members of the UNAIDS secretariat.

The meeting was convened in response to the county’s concerns and needs in regards to HIV prevention and control. 

During the meeting they deliberated on strategies to curb new infections focusing majorly on adolescents, young adults and men. 

Before the meeting commenced, Omar led the UNAIDS secretariat in paying a courtesy call to the County Secretary, Arnold Mkare. 

The county secretary assured them that they have the County’s full support.
