The main suspect in the murder of three Kapsoya MCA aspirant's children is expected to be arraigned in an Eldoret court, Tuesday facing murder charges.
Uasin Gishu Deputy Police Commander Samuel Mutunga says police are following key information they hope will lead to the arrest of more suspects.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret, Monday, Mutunga further revealed that police were also investigating the phone to the suspect who is alleged to be the last person seen with the children before they went missing.
"We are looking into the phone records of the suspect and we hope to find out who he spoke to before and after the children were reported missing," noted Mutunga.
"The suspect was the last person to be seen with the children and he is helping us with the investigations as we seek to ensure all those involved are arrested and prosecuted," he added.
The three children of Kapsoya KANU MCA hopeful James Ratemo were reported missing on May 13 while on their way to the church at Kapsoya estate in Eldoret town and their bodies later found floating on River Nzoia in the neighboring Trans Nzoia county.
Uncle to the children, Enock Onsanze was arrested on allegations that he was the last person to be seen with them before they went missing.
