For women, poor underwear hygiene can culminate to serious health conditions than it can be in men.

Here are some of the panty rules every woman should adhere to:

Think before you put on a thong

Although wearing thongs has become the new fashion, their design makes them very good agents of transmitting bacteria from the anus towards the vagina. Traces of faeces may be pulled to the vagina by the thong hence causing urinary or vaginal infections.

Study the stains

A woman underwear is also important when it comes to monitoring her reproductive health.  The colour and smell of the stains will tell more on how healthy or unhealthy she is down there.

Use skin friendly detergents.

While washing your panties, you should consider the fact that they cover your very sensitive areas. This, therefore, means that the use of strong bleaches and detergents may result in skin reactions down there.

Allow ventilation

It is important for every woman to use underpants that allow her intimate areas to breath.  Cotton is a preferred material since it absorbs sweat and is therefore handy while working out or even working.

Know when to go bare

Sometimes it is advisable to go the ‘commando style’ and stay for a while without panties.

However, you should not go without undies while working out or when wearing jeans as the two generate friction which may result in abrasions on the thighs and around the intimate parts.
