Former Mwingi North MP John Munuve has asked Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to unite the Kamba community first before thinking of being president in 2022.
Speaking to journalists in Mwingi Town on Saturday, Munuve said that Kalonzo will not be president unless he unites Kamba leaders and residents.
He noted that the Kamba community is divided along political lines and needs a common stand moving forward.
"The first assignment Kalonzo Musyoka needs to do is to bring the community together before thinking of contesting for presidency," he said.
Munuve said that the Wiper leader will lose miserably should he not unite the community and champion for a common political stand.
The former MP who ditched Wiper and joined Jubilee before losing in last year's polls, said that Ukambani has high chances of ascending to top leadrship.
He said that if the leaders come together and decide on one candidate and lobby for support from other communities, then they will produce a president in 2022.
Munuve asked Kalonzo to do his political calculations well ahead of 2022.
He said that partnering with Jubilee should be an option for the former Vice President.
Munuve at the same time lauded the political re-union between president Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
The former lawmaker said the truce between the two national leaders is good for national unity and reconciliation.
