The summit aims at bringing together water experts from around the world to discuss how water resources can be put into better economic use for the benefit of the country.

Former president Mwai Kibaki, who is the patron of Millennium Water Alliance Trust-Kenya, opened the two day summit yesterday with expectations to find long lasting solutions to the water problem in the county.

MKU Vice-Chancellor Prof Stanley Waudo was optimistic that the participation will produce good results that will benefit everyone.
