The chairman of University of Africa board of trustees Michael Kamau revealed on Thursday that the University will offer scholarships to 10 bright needy students from Kajiado Country annually once the institution fully operational.
During the ground breaking ceremony for the building of the university in Kisaju, along the Nairobi - Namanga Road he revealed that the new Kajiado campus, whose first intake will be in May 2018, will be constructed at a cost of Sh150 million .
He added that the institution will offer different courses in management, leadership and business, from undergraduate to doctorate levels.
"The university will accommodate 600 students in its hostels while our lecture rooms can occupy 2,000 students. We urge the locals to take this opportunity to get employment and study here," said Kamau.
