Students at the University of Nairobi (UoN) will resume classes starting Monday November 6, a month after the institution was closed indefinitely over security concerns.In a public notice, students pursuing Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Education and External Studies, and Health Sciences will be the first to report to their respective campuses.Other students include those of Open and Distant Learning, postgraduate students,and Module II students (those of evening classes). UoN Academic Registrar said those pursuing Humanities and Social Sciences should report on Monday 13th.

The institution opens despite lecturers' strike which kicked off November 1.
