Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will help needy students continue with their studies.
The MoU between Kisii County Bunge Sacco, Kisii County Youth Development Forum and World Vision was signed on Thursday at the University Grounds, Kisii Campus.
Speaking during the signing, University Director Henry Nyabuto said they signed the MoU as one way to help needy students continue with the tertiary education.
According to Nyabuto, 66 per cent of the youths come from poor backgrounds and they need such help. He said such youths will be identified to benefit from the MoU.
Nyabuto also said that all parties will work together to ensure that they achieve their goals.
