Fear and tension has hit family and friends of an Arsenal fan who went missing after watching his team lose to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The fan identified as Richards Moku, a student at Maseno University Kisumu town campus was last seen with friends on Saturday afternoon at Empire Sports Bar.
According to his friends who spoke to a HiviSasa writer, Richards said he could commit suicide if his team lost in the London’s derby but no one paid attention to his sentiments.
“He said it twice that he could commit suicide if his team lost but we just took fun of it. After the game he left us. I am not sure if he was feeling high either,” said Kirui, one of the friends.
On Sunday, Mike Najabi, another close friend who had visited Richards at 7 am at his house in Migosi, was shocked to find the single-roomed house having its doors wide open with no one inside.
“Immediately I learned he was missing, I called his sister and some of his friends. I also contacted Kondele police over this situation and they have assured us of their cooperation,” Mike told HiviSasa.
Kondele OCS Ben Baraza said he had dispatched a team of police to help in looking for the student.
