St Paul’s University, Nakuru campus student whose body was found dumped in a bush near RVIST was buried on Wednesday at the Njoro cemetery.

A somber mood engulfed the afternoon burial ceremony where friends and family gathered to witness the send off of the late Edwin Odhiambo Opap, a business and management student, who met his cruel death from unknown persons on his way back home from Nakuru town on January 13, this year.

It was shocking news to many who knew him since he was still in good health before his demise.

A few of his friends we spoke at the event described him as a humble and focused young man who had aspired to travel to China for further studies.

He had already enrolled for Chinese classes at Egerton University where he was completing his first stage.

Police are yet to establish the motive behind his death, as investigations are ongoing.

The late was the first born child in a family of two who live in Kenyatta, Njoro sub-county, Piave location.
