A third year student at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology was killed by her lover On Saturday.

The 23-year-old girl had booked a room at a Guest house in Bondo together with the lover.

The lodging's management said they had commotion followed by screams coming from the lover's room at 5:30 am Saturday morning.

They called for police help who broke into the room and found the girl's body lying in a pool of blood.

Area OCPD said the couple must have gotten into an argument over alleged infidelity.

The boyfriend was arrested and will face charges on Monday.
