A student of Maseno University was thrown out of his rented house by the landlord for constantly playing loud music.
Residents of Posta in Maseno said the student has been a nuisance as he constantly plays loud music during the day and at night.
The landlord Mr Philip Abok threw him out on Thursday morning after the student held a night bash in the plot where they played loud music until morning hours of Thursday.
“I have been receiving complaints from other tenants about his mischievous behaviour of playing loud music irrespective of the tenants persistent complains. I have warned him a number of times but he does not heed to the terms he signed to,” said Abok.
Some tenants also raised concern about his hygiene and drinking habits.
“We have been having trouble with this boy. I can’t comfortably sleep due to his loud music and his coming late at night disturbing us to open the gate for him. I have a small baby but a number of times I have approached him to reduce the volume but he scorned me. What the landlord has done is a great move and I laud him for that,” said Ms Mary Akinyi a neighbour.
