It is alleged the two refused to add Sh20 extra as bus fare after giving the tout Sh100.

The conductor then decided to throw them out but they refused, holding on to their seats.

The conductor on finishing to collect money from the other passengers went back to the two asking them to add Sh20 each but they refused. He told them to alight but the two refused telling him if he would take them back to the stage where he picked them, then they would alight.

“It started as a small argument when the two guys (Students) refused to add to the money they had given the tout, Sh20. Before long we saw the two boxing each other,” said Mariah Nyangweso a passenger.

The conductor out of fury held one of them by the shirt trying to pull him out but he held unto his seat saying he was neither adding money nor alighting. The tout grew furious and hit him in the face.

The student on the other hand hit back and they held each other’s neck trying to strangle one another. The other student stood and joined in the fight pinning the tout him on the floor of the vehicle and managed to box him out.

The passengers raised alarm trying to stop the two from fighting forcing the driver to stop the car.

When finally rescue came, the conductor was already bleeding from the nose while the student who had started the fight was left with a torn shirt and his partner in crime was left with some minor injuries.

The driver restored order but forced the two to pay the extra Sh20 or alight from the matatu. The two, finally yielded and paid the money.
