Speaking on Wednesday during a thanksgiving service at Dr. Sagini hall in the institution, assistant dean of students Francis Kerongo condemned the act where students set ablaze a saloon car which injured one person in a road accident near the university.

"We acted irrationally by destroying a private property," said Kerongo.

"You could have demanded the arrest of the suspected driver rather than burning his vehicle," he added.

Kerongo urged students to be less quick in acting violently to situations but rather embrace dialogue.
