A section of Moi University female students has taken to social media to complain about the effects of stray cattle in the school. The cows, according to the students has been inconveniencing them. It is alleged that last week, the cows trampled over the students' clothes arousing fierce reactions from the Kesses-based institution students."All my clothes were eaten by the cows and now I have nothing to wear. What am I now supposed to do? Those cows should be restricted from accessing some areas," a second-year student named Wendy expressed her bitter reaction. A few weeks ago, a photo of the cows on the academic highway trended a lot on social media with some making fun of the institution."Something to be done about these cows. They must be put under zero grazing or restricted to certain areas," Faith Kiruku said. The students have now taken to social media under the hashtag #Ifikieadmin to air out their grievances to the administration in hope that they will be addressed."For heaven's sake this is a university and its status should at least reflect that of an institution of higher learning," another student posted on Facebook. Samuel Jakom, one of the student leaders, however, promised that they will look into the matter.
