Omar on Tuesday instead blamed unknown forces  for speculating on the alleged fall out in the Wiper party.

The Wiper secretary general said that the party is not aware of any fall out stating that someone somewhere is manufacturing  the  fall out claims.

“Somebody somewhere is manufacturing the fall out claims with the aim of causing divisions in the party, said Omar as quoted by the Star.

The Mombasa senator at the same time accused the media of escalating the issue.

“We will not allow the media to continue speculating on the issue that is not true. There is no fall out in Wiper,” added Omar.

This comes as it said that Muthama skipped a Tuesday  meeting organized by Wiper to deliberate on the speculations that have been widely reported in the media.

Sources say that Muthama did not show up for the meeting at Party headquarters in Nairobi on Tuesday.

This is despite the Machakos senator earlier appearing at press conference called by Cord at Capitol Hill in Nairobi.

It is not clear why Muthama refused to attend Wiper’s meeting and subsequent press briefing by Wiper officials.

At the same time, speculations are emerging that Muthama might consider defending his  Machakos senate seat on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Sources say that Muthama has been angered by Kalonzo's criticism and is allegedly working on his way out of the Wiper party.

On Friday last week during a rally at Sultan Hamud, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka allegedly gave Muthama a dress down.

Kalonzo accused the Machakos senator of allegedly fueling divisions in Wiper.

The former Vice President also accused Muthama of allegedly working to sabotage his 2017 presidential bid.

He claimed that Muthama is working with Siaya senator James Orengo to deny him chance of flying Cord’s ticket in 2017.

Several politicians allied to Wiper have since refuted the claims of fall out between Kalonzo and Muthama with analysts warning that Kalonzo’s political future will be jeopardized if he falls out with the Machakos senator.

However, some rebels who recently ditched the Wiper party have accused Muthama of  hypocrisy. The rebels led by Kilome MP Regina Ndambuki say that Muthama is the reason to why they ditched Kalonzo's party and joined President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party.
