Unknown people on Wednesday evening painted a water spring in Bogusero ward with human waste.

Locals say that they don't know what was the motive behind that but community policy teams said they had kicked off investigatons on the matter. 

"This is pure which craft and we shall ensure we get hold of the person who did this," said Rosa Okwoyo, a local. 

Simon Mbwayo the area assistant chief said that the owner of the land where the spring stands was opposed to the idea of puttingbit up there. 

"However, we shall not blame him until the matter is fully investigated. All we want is residents to be peaceful," he said. 

He then asked religious leaders to pray at the spring before it was cleaned.
