[Photo|MUHURI]Muslims for Human Rights (MUHURI) Mombasa legal aid clinic offices have been broken into.The offices situated opposite the Mombasa law courts was broken into by unknown people on Monday night. The human rights organisation said initial report suggested that few minutes after they had closed the office for the day, unknown people with ill intentions tried accessing the office by breaking the entrance door which triggered the alarm system and security guards rapidly responded to the alarm that made the culprits flee.In an update, MUHURI said a team of forensic experts were doing a preliminary examination as other key staff and directors recorded statement at the police station."We can confirm that the attempt to access our offices was not successful. We will issue a formal report on this tomorrow," MUHURI said, Monday evening.
