Kuresoi South Member of Parliament Zakayo Cheruiyot has said that people who are single should not contest for any elective seat as they do not have the leadership qualities.
Speaking in Kapkoi Secondary school during a function, the leader challenged those who seek for the seats to show their spouses to the public first.
"People who are not married could not be trusted as they may disappear immediately after being elected. So you should first show the community your spouse before you are elected," said Cheruiyot.
Cheruiyot maintained that good families are the foundation of better communities and urge married people to be responsible.
