Keroka boda boda association Chairman Dominic Babu has said that untrained boda boda riders in the area will be arrested.
According to Babu, untrained riders have been causing unnecessary accidents on the roads in Keroka because they lack the required driving skills.
“Unnecessary road accidents shall be a past tense in Keroka region because we have agreed that no rider will be allowed to operate without undergoing the required training at a recognized driving school,” said Babu.
He also cautioned motorbike owners against giving their motorcycles to underage children.
“Motorbike owners who will be found giving their motorcycles to underage children and school going students will be arrested,” he said.
Babu also added that strangers will not be allowed to operate in Keroka region in order to curb theft of motorbikes.
Babu also appealed to riders in the area to maintain cleanliness as those who will be found dirty will be forced to bath in broad daylight.
“Dirty boda boda riders will be forced to bath in public because we don’t want riders that chase away our customers by their bad smell. Riders must also wear on protective gears such as helmets, gloves, reflectors and heavy clothes while at work,” he added.
