[Photo/uon.ac.ke]The University of Nairobi engineers have joined the pantheon of innovators after developing Kenya's first satellite.According to the institution, the satellite is set to be launched in two months time.The project was supported by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. 1 million U.S dollars was provided by the Japanese but it is Kenyan engineers at the University of Nairobi that worked on the satelite.The development has thrust Kenya into the global limelight as an emerging techno-power.
