University of Nairobi (UON) students have announced a two-day protest over the refusal of current Student leader Babu Owino to step aside.

In a notice sent to police, the students said that they will stage the protests in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu.

Already, the studwents have already notifitied the policw about roads that will be used during then demos.

Owino was re-elected after a chaotic campaign period that led to suspension of some students .
