A former University of Nairobi law student has sued the institution.

Inganga Alfred Arunga has calaimed  that Uon has withheld his certficates, in an affidavit filed at the Kisumu High Court.

According to Arunga, a senior university official confiscated the certificate, over claims it may have been forged.

He has alleged that the matter had subjected him to emotional torture and delayed his plans to register for post-graduate studies at the Kenya School of Law.

Kisumu High Court Judge, Justice David Majanja has now issued fresh summons to Vice Chancellor Peter Mbithi to appear before him on April 25, 2017.
