Madaraka Member of Parliament George Aladwa has been released on free bond from Nairobi Area police station.
Aladwa was arrested by police on Friday night from his Buruburu home before being taken to Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters in Kiambu.
According to his lawyers Nelson Havi and John Khaminwa, the former Nairobi mayor was questioned over the controversial Raila Odinga swearing-in as 'people's president's.
Raila took the controversial oath on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Uhuru Park grounds.
The ODM legislator has been ordered to appear before the CID on Monday at 10am for more grilling.
Aladwa is among opposition leaders who have been arrested following the swearing in.
