Hours after Jubilee Bomet nominations were postponed and Nandi primaries halted due to inadequate ballot papers, Jubilee party now says the process will continue in all the 21 counties as earlier planned.
A statement to newsrooms, by party secretary general Raphael Tuju said they had succeeded to deliver voting materials to respective areas.
“We wish to confirm that we have managed to deliver electoral materials to all the participating constituencies,” said Tuju.
“We further wish to confirm that the party has made sufficient provisions to enable all our voters exercise their democratic right without any hindrance or inhabitation whatsoever;” he added.
“We further wish to state that all primaries will proceed as the schedule provided by the party and urge all voters to adhere to guidelines provided by the party headquarters on the primaries,” he noted, Friday morning.
The party has further cautioned all aspirants and returning officers against issuing any statement regarding the process, such as postponements, without consultations from the party headquarters.
Cases of insufficient ballot papers have been reported in Kericho, Uasin Gishu and Egeyo Marakwet counties.
