The county government has been criticized for spending too much on foreign trips.
This comes as the devolved unit sponsored 120 bodaboda riders for a trip to Kigali Rwanda.
The riders will be expected to learn from their Rwandan counterparts on how the sector thrives in their country.
The tour is sponsored by the county government through the Ministry of Education, Youth, Gender and Sports headed by Chief Executive Jennifer Kere.
The riders, mainly youth, left the country in two groups.
Rwanda has one of the most vibrant bodaboda industry in Africa.
The first group left on Monday led by a senior director from the Youth Ministry Dr Kennedy Hongo while the second one departed on Tuesday headed by Ms Kere.
Dr Hongo, who spoke to this writer said the riders, drawn from 35 wards in the county will be expected to help other operators in the county after returning to make wise decisions while in the commercial motorcycle business.
The are expected to return to the country on Monday, August 8.
