However, the coach has clarified why he left out most of the players, saying their congested schedule could not allow them to take part in team preparations.

Migne had named a preliminary squad of local players who trained with the new boss on Tuesday, and could not call on Gor players since they had a match on Wednesday.

However, the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has clarified K’Ogalo players are a huge part of the former Congo Brazzaville head coach plans despite their omission.

“The proper squad will be named on Thursday. It will even incorporate Gor Mahia players. The early call-ups were made bearing in mind that Gor has a congested calendar as they played Hull City on Sunday and has a CAF Confederations Cup match against USM Alger of Algeria.

“We, therefore, saw it fit to let Gor Mahia players rest so they can focus on the continental game ahead,” FKF Communication Officer, Barry Otieno said when he spoke to Sportpesa news.

Gor settled for a 0-0 draw in the match against USM on Wednesday evening, and currently, have two points from as many matches.
